EIA: US cuts forecast for global demand for oil in 2023
MOSCOW, Sep 12 (PRIME) -- The U.S. Department of Energy has decreased its forecasts for oil demand in the world by 220,000 barrels per day to 100.97 million barrels per day in 2023 and by 470,000 barrels per day to 102.33 million barrels per day in 2024, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report on Tuesday.
The OPEC’s oil production is expected to fall by 800,000 barrels per day in 2023, and to rise by only 400,000 barrels per day in 2024.
